I am an IT veteran from the Stockholm area in Sweden who has
spent 30 years in this fascinating and sometimes turbulent industry. Over the
years, I have worked with software development, system design, networking,
Software implementation and corporate management. Between 1988 and 2001, I
worked abroad in Europe, Asia and Africa as well as some shorter sessions in the
US.
A little over a year ago
I returned to Sweden where I started up Linked-Globe AB.
We are now taking on various types of projects in the
information technology field. Our philosophy is to use only experienced staff who
can by themselves cover a very wide range of expertise. This makes us
particularly valuable for small and medium size clients. These clients need the
quick, economical and efficient assistance possible when the distance between
issue and solution is short. Our individual long experience also gives an
invaluable perspective when planning for the future.
Linked-Globe is in the process of building a global network
of expertise in our field. The years abroad have given me an insight in what
incredible talent that exists even in the most unlikely places. With the advent
of the Internet, projects and organizations can easily be coordinated on a
global basis. A group of experts working with a software project may
individually be located in all corners of the globe. Web cameras, IP
telephony and remote control of computers effectively removes most of the constraints
of physical location and allows the project coordinator the freedom
to chose the best and most cost effective talents worldwide.
